Google Operating System has prepared a automated command prompt batch script file that will automatically merge the required registry values into the Windows registry and patch the urls.xml file in order to hide the YM ads. Download the batch file noYMads2.bat. Once downloaded the batch file, simply execute and run the batch script by double clicking it, and the every Yahoo Messenger ads removal fixes will be installed properly.

The batch script actually does the similar hacks and changes with the batch script for earlier version of YMessenger. It simply sets and edits the following registry values which related to ads in Y!M 8 in the registry branch of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\YUrl by replacing the original value with a dummy asterisk (*). The list of string values that are been modified include:

Messenger Ad
Webcam Upload Ad
Webcam Viewer Ad
Webcam Viewer Ad Big
Webcam Viewer Ad Medium
Change Room Banner
Conf Adurl
Chat Adurl
Y Content (the additional registry setting been modified)

After that the script will empty the content for urls.xml located in C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Cache\ folder. So you prefer to do the hacking job and ad removal process yourself, you can simply edit the registry values and file accordingly. After the crack, the registry branch will look like below in the registry editor.

Note that after using this patch, the Yahoo! Chat Rooms is not working properly. So if you’re using this feature, skip to the following crack.

Beside animated ad banner in the Y!M8 main windows, with this tool, users can also enable or disable multiple instances of Yahoo Messenger 8.0, remove the change room anner, remove the chat ad, create a desktop shortcut to Yahoo! Chat, remove all webcams ads, and specify the the location where the Blank.html which is used to replace the webcams ads will be stored.

There is also another Y!Msgr ad removal tool Yahoo! Messenger AD-Remover New 2 Patch (download link) which patch the YahooMessenger.exe and edit some registry values. After patch, the flash ads on the main windows will be removed completely.

heemm,  saring sebuah trik buat menghindari file2 kita terinfeksi virus…

OK, dari pengalaman karena terkena virus, aku bs ambil kesimpulan bahwa rata-rata virus melakukan pengecekan terhadap directory dan file yang ada di dalam sebuah hardisk dan tentunya tidak semua file akan di infeksi oleh vir. MIsal saja file-file *.doc yang menjadi *exe ato file *.exe yang di rusak oleh virus seperti virus parite dan sejenisnya, jadi pada intinya mereka “(virus”) sebelum melakuakn infeksi akan mengecek ada tidaknya file sasaran yg sudah terdaftar. dan rata-rata virus hanya akan mendeteksi file file dengan attribut non system(-S), -R dan read only(+R), Jadi apa intinya BOz???

yupz, langsung ke source saja:

Perintah di atas berarti semua file dan directory di dalam drive ‘D’ akan di sett atributnya menjadi system, dimana file system tidak akan terbaca dengan perintah ‘DIR’ maka virus akan menganggap bahawa di dalam drive ‘D’ tidak terdapat file maupun directory, dengan kata lain hardisk kosong

So? file kita aman dan tidak akan ada penggandaan nama folder yang berextensi *.EXE yg bikin hardisk kita penuh

Saran untuk para Produsen virus ,”Gunakan Variable perintah sejenis DIR dengan menambahkan /a:s”

Perintah di atas bisa di gunakan pada semua drive selain %systemdrive%\ ato defaultnya adalah drive C:\ dan Drive CD Room pada OS windows tentunya. Caranya tinggal mengganti “D” menjadi “E” untuk drive E.

Cara kunci folder dari batch programing ini bisa menjadi solusi bagaimana cara kunci folder tanpa harus membeli software lisensi berbagai macam program kunci folder yang di tawarkan dalam bentuk komersial. Walaupun cara kunci folder ini masih mempunyai banyak celah kelemahan, tapi sayarasa cukup untuk sekedar memprotek data data anda. Teknik kerja kunci folder ini sebenarnya hanya memanfaatkan extensi control panel pada windows os, sehingga pada saat directory di eksekusi akan membuka control panel pada windows. Ditambah juga metode hidden extensi yang di gunakan dalam trik kunci folder tanpa software ini membuat directory tujuan kunci folder tidak terlihat dalam settingan default hidden setting. berikut adalah resource dari trik kunci folder tersebut :

cara menggunakan:

* paste code di atas di notepad dan ganti tanda petik(”) dg tanda petik dari keyboard asli kmu. Tanaya kenapa?, karena blog ini tidak mengijinkan tanda petik.. ;))

*save as dg extensi*.bat (misal: lock.bat)

*double klik lock.bat

*akan muncul sebuah folder baru dg nama Lock

*masukkan file2 yg ingin anda kunci kedalam folder Lock

*double klik lock.bat dan file anda akan terkunci.

*bia ingin mengembaklikan file yg sudah ter lock, double klik lagi lock.bat dan masukkan password anda..
